Frequently asked questions
How many Telegram channels can I invite my Bot to?
There are no limit on the number of channels you can invite your Bot to.
Does it works on Channels with "Topics"?
Yes - after inviting your "clone" Bot into your channel, go to your "Topic" channel and type the /pause command twice for the Bot to register that it would post into that "Topic" channel automatically.
Can I track more than one NFT Collection per Bot simultaneously?
No, your Bot can only actively track one NFT collection.
You can "clone" more Bots, if you need to track more than one collection or change the NFT collection that your current bot is tracking at anytime. A single user is limited to a max of 5 clone bots.
What are the supported chains?
@MintyNFTBot works on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon (MATIC), Arbitrum and Base.
What NFT standards are supported?
@MintyNFTBot should work with most ERC-721 standard NFT contracts. Contracts through Proxy should also generally work but may occasionally run into some issues. Unfortunately, ERC-1155 is not supported yet.
Why can't I see an image for my Collection post?
Due to the various different ways of contracts / collections encoding and host their images, the bot currently supports images hosted through https/ipfs or directly encoded image in base64 strings in the common format such as PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG. In the event that the Bot can't retrieve the image for your NFT, it should automatically fallback to using a preview of your NFT image from OpenSea.
Does this work on Discord?
No. There seemed to be plenty of options for NFT Bot for Discord but I've yet to come across one for Telegram that has all the features and functions that I see project needs. Hence why I've created @MintyNFTBot just for Telegram communities.
Does my Bot lives on forever?
No. You bot will automatically be deactivated: 1. If there's been no activity aka on-chain events from your NFT Collection in 30 days 2. If the Bot is has not been set up with a NFT Contract within 30 hours of creation 3. If the Bot is not actively in any Channels/Groups and the last update is over 72 hours You can manually reactivate your bot anytime through the 'Settings' command with @MintyNFTBot.
